About Goods Flooring

Goods was originally founded in 1939 as Hoods Carpets & Flooring and, to this day, remains a family run business.

Located in South Birmingham, Goods has been established through providing a first class flooring supply and fitting service. People who needed carpets in Kings Heath, Solihull and across Birmingham benefited from the high level of service Goods provided. That level of service has only increased across the years.

Well known in the area, we have a large two storey showroom displaying our diverse choice of flooring options. Offering residential carpet fitting and commercial flooring solutions across Birmingham, Good’s success is largely built on the personal recommendations received as a result of the consistent high quality flooring products and flooring services that we offer.

We are pleased to write how happy we are with the way our flooring in the kitchen has worked out. First of all, thank you for your extreme patience whilst waiting for us to sort out the problems in the roof. We are not sure that many companies would have gone to the trouble of pointing this out to us like you did and waited for the months that you did. You recommended that we consider Karndean. A visit to their Evesham showroom convinced us and your team have done a fabulous job of laying it. The guys were pleasant and a credit to your company. If you have customers who would actually like to see the finished product, we would be happy to show them.

I should like to say how very pleased we were with the fitting of a new bedroom carpet. Your fitters were most professional and courteous and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. We would definitely recommend your firm to anyone. It will probably be a few years before we need to re-carpet but we shall look no further than your company.

I would just like you to know how pleased I am with the carpet your boys laid on my hall, landing, stairs and sitting room on Friday. It was a tremendous job which they completed with great skill and efficiency. They went to endless trouble to see that all the electric cables were back in the right places and that everything was ship shape before they left.
